By  Divyakshi Gupta

Deeg is on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan and is 32 KM from Bharatpur

The Deeg Palace was built by  the Jat rulers of Bharatpur in 1772

Jat rulers were inspired by Mughal architecture and hence the palace grounds resembles the Charbagh layout

There are several Bhavans: Gopal, Hardev, Suraj, Keshav, Nand Bhawan

Suraj Bhawan is a poetry in marble. With ornate ceilings and chambers this is a photographer's delight

Gopal Bhawan has a museum which is open on all days except Friday and you are required to purchase an entry ticket to see it.

Deeg palace has over 2000 fountains all across the palace
